The amplifier 220 SE is in its current version back to the Model 2-11 - A, the Master Sound in 1994 first introduced. The former model has worked with a single EL34 per channel. After several modifications defines the latest version of the model, the 220 SE (provisional) at the end of a successful product evolution with an excellent price / performance ratio.

Unlike many other tube amplifier, which in recent years with a EL34-tipping on the market, the model works in SE 220 single Class A operation and not on the basis of a push / pull circuit. So waived Mastersound on a higher power output. But the gain is not new sound!
